I know my baby isn't purebred (she's a Yorktese/Morkie or whatever!) but just to show you how they can grow so differently:
At 8 weeks, Ceiba was 2lbs and her brother, Ace was 2.2lbs. (He's always been an ounce or 2 heavier).
At 12 wks, she weighed in at 2.11lbs and he at 3.9lbs. They were both eating the same (crappy!) food. (I was scared to change her food so quickly). Not sure why the huge difference in weight!
So I guess that even in littermates, the growth rates can vary quite a bit! Just my 2 cents
