Archie moves around. He sleeps in his little doggy bed in the foyer area, sometimes on the couch, whereever he wants for naps. But at night, he will come in and sleep on the bed with me around 12 or 1 and wakes up when my boyfriend gets home at 4:30. Until he comes home, Archie sleeps near his pillow but as soon as he comes home, Archie moves to the foot of the bed on my side. But when we have guests, he likes to sleep with them in the spare room. I think I might have squished him once but he barked. Maybe if you try allowing your yorkie to sleep next to you, he'll figure out the best spots where he's least likely to be hurt. Dogs have a natural instinct to protect, so they like to be near you and they're very sensitive to slight movements, etc. Atleast Archie is. |
