that would be a better idea. i did get a baby gate (cheap kind) around halloween time and i move it from room to room where ever it is needed. but my husband won't take the time to put it up. i need one that i can just swing open or retract open like you said. i crushed and killed a pup poodle about 15 yrs ago with the garage door so i am very very cautious with that area. plus i don't let either of these 2 in the garage due to too many hazardous things there. I keep 20 mule team borax scattered about in the garage to kill those darn roaches they have in this area. Last thing I need is for one of them to eat that stuff. so the garage is off limits totally.
