I would be very nervous sending a dog COD. Mainly because I would want to make sure that there are no problems with the funding before I ship my puppy out. I would just die if I thought my puppy was stuck in an airport because they couldn't pay. Therefore, everything must be paid before I would ship.

I also check for direct flights. Different airlines have different direct flights. So check with that.

Also, make sure you check with the rules for that airline. For instance, you can't put a toy in with them any more. Silly rule to me, but you can't do it.
