deniserae - You do not have to sit through a show all say just to see the yorkies at a regular show. If you check the ring times (they usually come out about a week before the show) - it will tell you what ring the yorkies are being show in and at what time. All rings are clearly marked. It is so easy! And many of the shows lately have large entry numbers - I think Franklin had 26 yorkies, which is a nice show. Some of the people here like Shirley went to it and can let you know that is a good number of yorkies.
Speciality shows are the ones where only yorkies are at, but sometimes the specialty clubs/toy club will combine and have their shows at the same location and on the same day - like in Atlanta with the Rose Cluster.
There is,
www.ytca,org site you can check on the Speciality clubs (like Pat suggested), Onofrio for AKC shows to name one, also check on
www.akc.org for show events.
Good luck and hope to see you at some of the shows.
