Considering that most females come into heat every 6 months, then it is possible to have 2 litters a year. Now, how often the person breeds is the questions.
Some say to breed 2 cycles, rest one. Some bitches only come into heat every 10-11 months...hence producing only 1 litter a year.
I, personally, think it's good to give bitches a break. I know that I'd hate to be preggers constantly. |
