I don't think the baby needs tube feeding since I have no problem feeding it through syringe. My vet and the ER vet didn?t recommend it as well. It gets 3 to 4 CC of the Esbilac formula every 2 to 3 hours. I also let it nurse on Vicky before feeding and give some nutrical. Baby is not dehydrated. I know how to check since it happened last weekend and I rushed to ER. I just don?t know why it gains so little. It is very active puppy, racing all over the box and mommy. I am very frustrated but not giving up. Is there anything else I should use instead Esibilac? Maybe some home made formulas to help the baby grow? I am using powder formula mixing 2 tbs of water with 1 tbs of powder per directions on the can. Thank you for your suggestions.
