Tami - Goodness no! I wasn't responding to your post, I was responding to this:
[QUOTE] lady that has a yorkie just called me and said she has a puppy and this female yorkie is biting her pup. She said if she doesn't find a home she will put her down tomorrow. She is 3 1/2 yrs old I'm not sure how much she weighs but she has not been fixed.[QUOTE]
This wasn't even an old dog. She is only 3 1/2 years old. My Tahoe is 14 years old, so I know that this dog of hers has a long life ahead and her inconveniences don't warrant taking her dog's life away. Give the dog to someone else, but don't kill it as though your existence in its life is all that matters to this dog. Like I said, Tahoe is 14 and I adopted him at 10 years old. Had his previous owners considered euthanizing him as a viable option, I may not have been blessed with this *PERFECT* little boy and he would have been deprived of 4 + years of life and relationships (particularly with other dogs and three of my cats, one of whom is his best "buddy".)
