I may not explained it right but my dixie died,I under no conditions had her put down.I may have took this wrong and surely wanted to straightening it up.I miss my baby so much and feel lost without her.I also agree with you,dogs are like people,they get old also but thats when they need you and your care and love,not to have them destroyed or thrown away,so sad.
