Also, mistyinca, on the Petzlife website there are suggestions for getting the Petzlife gel into their mouths. I'm using it for my cat and she is no dumby when it comes to ferreting out meds stuck in food. But I used the suggestion to hide it in peanut butter (something my kitty doesn't actually like) and subsituted liverwurst for the peanut butter. Now I just make a little pancake out of the liverwurst, squirt a dab of the Petzlife gel into it, and roll it into a little ball. Honestly the cat absolutely went into a fit when I first tried to put the plain gel directly into her mouth. But with the liverwurst, she takes the whole ball of it, even tho I'm sure the gel probably squirts out as she devours it, and she gobbles the whole thing up despite the gel. So you might try that with your puppy. |
