Update she has a extrahepatic shunt. She has been put on a special diet, Lactulos, Metronidazole and potassium bromide for the next two weeks, a consult is set for the 26th and surgery on the 27th. She is still not showing any sings of illness, is just being sassy.... Her liver size is decreased and has a very small stone in her bladder. The doctors say we are lucky to have discovered this since she has no signs of illness. Thank goodness for pre dental procedure blood work. We are anxious but feel that the surgery is the best course of action. Please keep us in you thoughts and say a little prayer for sassy. I hope Miko is still doing well. Thanks for your support. |
