Grace seems to be doing just fine. She's eating like a horse and immediately returning to her babies. I've been giving a few drops of maple syrup to the three that were not born naturally, because I have not seen them latch on yet. The other two have obviously full tummies. They are "alert" and moving around, so I'm sure they will figure it out soon enough.

I'm wondering, though, if they still have some of the anesthetic in them from the surgery, at 7:45 this morning. I would have thought after 7-8 hours, it would be out of their little systems. . . ?

Anyway, the syrup was my vet's suggestion, to prevent them from low blood sugar. I'm giving them 3 drops every 2 hours.
