B]COLOR=Blue]AWWW, I am so sorry to hear about those needless losses! Are you a novice breeder? Did the vet know that? I mean, had you discussed all options with her for every event during this whelping so that she understood all of your concerns and your degree of experience. A vet should treat an experienced breeder differently than a novice. AND, tell them to come in and take a look no matter the cost..Pat and I know of at least 4 things like that happening in the past coupla years and 2 were experienced breeders who trusted the vet and not their instincts. Whelping can come down to nothing more than a judgement call on the owner's part. This is a real valuable learning event and although it is sorrowful, there are some positives and 1 is to get that first horrible experience behind you and learn from it..
Your baby is across Rainbow Bridge with so many of ours that have left us since Thanksgiving.[/COLOR][/B |
