Gracie does this too when she gets too excited. In a Yorkie book it says to distract them by making a loud noise to get there attention so they stop what they are doing and are able to breathe properly. I don't know where DH put the book so I can't look up the specifics. We were worried, but since we found it in one of our books we dont' worry so much anymore.
