had to come up with a quick "costume" for Bentley so I puut on his new Doggles goggles and an old T shirt of ET that my daughter wore about 25 years ago. he didn't keep the Doggles on long.

My sweet little Bentley died on Wednesday Dec 26...the day after Christmas. I posted the story in the General Discussion List on Dec 29. This picture in of him siting on the back of a chair by the window and near the tree front of the tree was the last picture I'd taken of Bentley...on Christmas Day.

This is Bentley wth my daughter, taken around hanksgiving. His hair is much lighter colored than in his first months. His coat grew long and very cottony. It became so badly matted and difficult to brush that I finally got medications from his vet to partially sedate him in order for him to allow his hair to be cut. It's much shorter now than I would like it too be. But he looks much better and cuter. Now he looks younger than he did before the haircut.
I'm planning to let it grow as much as possible...but never to get to a matting stage again.
He's one and a half years old now. His father is an AKC Yorkie...his mother is a Yorkie/Shitzu mix.So he's what's called a Shorkie (aka..a mutt)
