I agree. Both of my vet's said that splitting is fine. We have not had any tick or flea problems here and I've been spliting it for 9 yrs. I split one between the 3 of them. On one so small I would only use 1/3 of the vial.
(I don't know if there's a difference between us up north and the southern states with fleas and ticks)
