I just saw your pics and I think yellow would look great. Just a buttery yellow though. That's one color that is so hard to get right. You might try going to Target and looking at their Shabby Chic collection. I think white would be another good choice because it would make your blue pop. Target is so reasonably priced and if your renting I wouldn't want to invest alot of money. Also if you find a shower curtain you like you can take it to Home Depot or Lowe's and have them match your paint color exactly with their computer. I hoped I helped a little bit.
