Well, our really good friend had a blue tick hound named Lamar and my husband was OBSESSED with that dog. Well, Lamar got shot by a hunter not too long ago and when we decided to get a lab, my hubby begged me to let him name it Lamar to commemorate the late Lamar's memory. Of course I obliged and now we have Lamar!
