We talked to the vet this morning, and they gave us cough tablets to give to the chi as needed. I am just going to give him one dose at bed time and use the steam method during the day. He definitely needs his night sleep for his body to heal, but I don't want him to be drugged up 24 hours. We'll see how it goes tonight.
