Just be careful...some vets don't want you to give them anything for the cough. I would for ask your vet first if they think your pup should have anything. They sometimes want the stuff to come out if it can and not just sit in there.
PS Take a nice warm shower and take your pup in there - she can sit and wait for you while you do that and breath in the nice vapors.
