My heart goes out to your friend. It was very hard saying goodbye to my son 2 1/2 short weeks ago. I know that his contengent of Marines (BTT, 4 MEB(A/T)) flew from somewhere in Kuwait (where they've been since May 26th) to Baghdad International yesterday. He'll train for another 10 days to 2 weeks before going to his final location.
I'm worried sick now that I know he is in country somewhere. Only 11 1/2 months to go for us!
