What a terrible day! I think some customers give the wait staff a hard time hoping to get money taken off of their bill by a manager. Waiters and waitress work too hard to be treated like that. I wish resturants would automatically add the 20% for the server, and then if the service is extra good, the customer might give extra.
I tip at least 20% no matter how off the service is because I know how hard the work is, and how low the pay. |
