Your baby is a pack animal. They feel anxious when they are isolated from the pack particularly when they are first taken from their litter, and you're the pack for your baby now. If you can, keep your puppy in your room at night.
Why does your mom not want you to have your puppy in your room? It's certainly easier to hear if the puppy needs to get out to pee. As it is now, the puppy views the crate as a prison instead of a safe haven. Can you explain to your mom that your puppy needs to be with you just when it's little and then as it gets to be bigger it won't be an issue? |
