It's true. It's really tough on these people here because they come up expecting things to be so wonderful and Madison is a very expensive place to live. They have no skills and have to work 2-3 jobs to make money to send home. They live 3-4 families to an apartment so tensions run high. Then on top of that Madison has an ordinance that the person who is accused has to go to jail for the night no matter what. And then they have to come up with money for the bail to get him out and then they have to appear in court and that;s more money. We know better than to pull that stuff in Madison - you just don't hear of it much, but with the immigrants - they aren't used to our laws and they are always in trouble!
