I am so terribly proud of her!! We never, ever exhibited any fear/nervousness when there were thunderstorms with loud thunder & lightening. Toto never even showed signs of noticing any of these things .... until .... we were having dinner with her "Uncle Rick" & "Aunt Karen"!!! We heard a giant clap of thunder and saw a huge lightening strike and Karen immediately scooped Toto up saying, "Here, come to Aunt Karen, I know you're afraid of that old storm!!!" Well!!!! She
wasn't until then!! Aunt Karen was, but Toto was not!! Ever since then, if Toto heard thunder, she would begin shaking and run to be cuddled and held ... it was pitiful she was sooooo frightened!! We have worked really hard for way over two years to try and get her to stop this and finally, finally a couple of days ago we heard a huge clap of thunder [very rare in Colorado where we are] and she literally ran to the
window instead of running to
us!!! 
She looked everywhere and would just look over her shoulder at us like .... "don't worry, I'll take care of this"!! We are soooo happy ... it was heartbreaking to see her so frightened when this would happen! It feels so good knowing she is no longer afraid!!
