I could never crate Indy. I got him when he was a puppy and he was supposed to be crate trained. He was not!! He broke off teeth and eventually broke a leg trying to get out. So, since he never pottied in the house, I just let him have the run of it. He layed on the back of the sofa in the window and was perfectly happy.
