you probably don't need to take them to the vet. if they are acting fine, then go with it. that blood could have come from anywhere. I would just notate it and be on the look out for more blood or other signs before i would bring mine in.
hmmm, check toe nails and foot pads, sometimes they catch on things and the nail bed can bleed. also look in mouths for sores or loose teeth (cali maybe lost a tooth?), or maybe they were chewing on a toy and their gums bled alittle. also you can check the rest of the floor if you haven't already.
if its only on the wee wee pad i'm thinking that cali is in heat but just isn't showing any other signs. since she's so small she wouldn't bleed alot. so heat or UTI, that's what i'm going with. i'd wait another day to look for signs since everyone seems ok
