I don't see anything wrong with keeping a topknot in a male yorkie's hair.
After all, the show dogs have topknots in
males and females
As long as whatever you put in his hair doesn't look girly. You've got to keep the hair out of their eyes somehow. It's either up or you'll have to cut the bangs I guess.
