I had a Pomeranian who was Hypoglycemic. Not attacks here and there, always, if he did not eat he would lay stiff, like you said "look dead" liquid out of his mouth and all...it was horrible. He was full grown, weighing 2 lbs. and the vet said that he did not store enough sugar to keep himself going. My vet told me to put two teaspoons of sugar into his water and refresh it at least twice a day. When I did he was fine! If he ever seemed weak to me I would give him a teaspoon of water with a little sugar in it and he would pep right up. It was crazy...he would look stiff & dead, a little sugar water he would be fine within seconds...
I only went through the stiff thing two or three times but that was enough! It is so scary...
Gazou...the warm water is to help liquidate the Karo Syrup, right?? Great idea!!
