I'm not familiar with Timberwolf, but Natural Balance was one of the foods I tried when Sissy first went on her kibble strike months ago. Although it is only rated 4 of 6 stars, it is considered one of the super premium foods and other formulas of NB rank very high. I actually spoke with a NB rep at the pet store a while back and a single source protein/carb makes it much easier to determine if it is the food causing issues - that is why they formulate it as such. Also, the proteins/carbs they choose for their allergy formulas are known to be the least allergic. I would certainly try it if I was in your shoes.
