my yorkie had a puppy 3 weeks ago and he now weighs 1 1/2lb, is this weight normal for a young yorkie pup ?
A puppy that your mommie just had is 1 1/2lbs at 3 weeks old??? is this the only one in the litter? if so your baby is eating like a cow and grazing on every teat till their empty lol. What is the normal weight of your mommie and the sire? average weight on a 3 week old pup is usually under a pound unless dam/sire are larger.
Seems like you have a real healthy and happy little pup there! after 4 weeks in past experience is when they will pass a pound.
I wouldnt worry since she is the only one there for dinner she gets it all, the weight will regulate once you wean the baby.
