I am sorry, but I don't believe this is good advice. Not all problems surface before six months. Many Yorkies get diagnosed much later, or with this blood-work. There was recently a thread where a Yorkie was diagnosed with a serious disease due to pre-op blood work. There may be a small chance of something going wrong, but wouldn't you rather take all precautions you can?
