I think it just depends on the dog. I have 6 Yorkies. 2 get car sick and the rest don't. I don't think age has anything to do with it. I have had young ones not get sick. I have taken them out on a full stomach and an empty stomach they still get sick.

My dogs all sit in fleece line car seats. I line them with towels and bring extra towels dont want to leave anyone out !!!
