THanks for the quick replies. I have tried taping down the edges with gaffers tape, but Houdini has ripped these taped pads also. I am not sure if the reusable pads will work either because any type of old mat, pillow or pad we have given her to lay on she rips ups. I think that she will do the same to this.
Actually, today I came home and the rubber mat under her dishes was chewed in two of the corners. She has had this mat since day one and I was surprised that she decided to gnaw on it.
She is such a good dog except for this problem.
