I shave their ears all the way down before they open their eyes, then once a week there after.
I don't begin the weaning process until approximately 5 or 6 weeks, when they have lil teeth, but begin sooner if the litter is just taking too much from mom by supplementing with Gerbers Rice Ceral, Esbilac and a small of White Karo Syrup. But, let mom set the pace for complete weaning. |
