I would not trust any command or leash or anything ujntil i was sure she was trained. It on;ly takes a second. Keep a cate across the front door, or make sure there is a gate between the dog and the door.

Mine stay really well. I started by just pushing them back with my foot and saying stay. Now they stay, just on command. But I have a fenced patio and I live on an acreage. if I lived in town I would not risk it. EVER.

It's much easier to step over a gate, than to chase down a dog.
