I am so very sorry to hear about your baby. I know your heart is breaking. My first Yorkie, Laciebug, didn't have a tumor, but she did have leisons in her brain which caused swelling. She was on a low dose of prednisone for almost 3 years. She seemed to have no reaction to the steriod, however, some days she was "with us" other days she was confused. ...btw after the leisons were discovered in Laciebugs brain, she was given two to six months, she was a brave soul and shared her love with us for almost three years.
