My 11 yr old yorkie has a brain tumor, which is why he went blind. They Dr. said he has anywhere from 2-5 months to live. They have him on a steroid for inflammation and taking a chemo pill 3 times per week. The medicine can help him live 4 times longer. So far he is doing okay with the meds and is eating again. I also started him on K-9 Immunity. He had alot of spunk when he first started the meds two weeks ago, but the last 2 days he has been laid back.
I don't know what to expect and whether I should continue the meds. The steroids eventually will have to stop because it can cause bleeding in his intestines. It is so confusing and I am not sure if I am doing the right thing.

Has anyone experienced this and any information would be appreciated.THANK YOU
