We never had a problem with that but I think you may see some changes if you do switch. We feed Nature's Variety raw and it contains Alfalfa sprouts which is what one member here says helped her dogs quit that habit so maybe that helps by being in this food too. I've seen some wonderful changes in Jo's coat since we switched them to raw, he's not as oily as he was before so he doesn't need a bath mid week and it appears that his hair has started to grow again...it seemed to stop for a while...and it's laying down better on the top of his head...it used to stand straight up in the air
There is also no build up on their teeth, no bad breath and no messy poops. I do still put a bowl of dry food down for them but they hardly ever eat any and I think the fruit and veggie snacks help clean their teeth. Good luck with your decision!
