i have never known anyone to wait for a puppy to be 12 weeks before they brought it home - i guess that it depends on the area you are in. everyone i know with a yorkie has brought it home at 6 weeks. my neighbor recently bought one and that was the age she got hers,too.

Romeo is a good name. I can't wait to see pictures of him. You are right about the age thing. here in kentucky, the paper is full every weekend of six weeks old yorkies "Ready to go". Congratulations on your new baby.
