Congrats! I agree with everyone else, theknot.com is the best. Also you might want to check out the book Bridal Bargains (they have it at Barnes and Nobles). Even if you aren't on a budget they have a lot of good reviews of different brands (especially for wedding dresses) and great advice. And my husband and I planned our wedding from out of state too...it's a little more work, but if you have friends that recently got married they could be a great source of info for florists and caterers, etc. And pick someone you trust back in NY to help you coordinate. You'll need someone local there that vendors can speak to. And it wouldnt be a bad idea to fly out there once before the wedding and meet up with all of your vendors and make sure they can deliver exactly what you envision. Good luck and congrats again!
