We were mostly checking Penny's(my boxer) thyroid when I asked to have bloodwork done yesterday. The vet just called and said her thyroid is "normal" but in the low end of normal so she is in sort of a gray area. The vet said we could put her on medicine but we would have to be really careful not to over do it or she said we can just re-check it in a few months. I decided re-check it becuase at this point if she is still considered in the normal zone Im afraid we could really mess it up. BUt at the same time its hard for Penny to loose weight and she sheds excessively. But other than being a bit overweight she is pretty healthy so Im scrared to mess that up. What would you have done? Did I make the right choice?
