Miko,for one, is not like most dogs and reacts very negatively to the pain medication that they gave him last time he had surgery. He was vomitting like crazy, got very sick, and was totally out of it. I will never give it to him again. I agree with YorkieRose, they experience pain differently than humans. For Miko, it's either have him experience a little pain, or have him very sick.
