Yea, I have a "pet-quality" Yorkie too, and I wish she had all of her tail.
Next time we get a Yorkie I will plan ahead and ask the breeder not to dock ours. Tails give them an extra outlet for expression. Unless you have to (for showing), I'd say don't.
