I don't mean to alarm you, but you should mention this to your vet ASAP. I've read that this is a sign of collapsed trachia. They cough after exerting themselves. I'm not saying this is what your pup has, but try calling your vet and maybe describing this to the vet or his/her assistant over the phone. If they think it is reason for concern they will have you come in. Good luck with your baby.
