she will be fine, this is a pretty common procedure from what i understand. you are doing a good job not doing it over the weekend like i did.. I am overprotective mom of the year, and mine got hernia/spay done at the same time. spay was fine, but she had a bit of an irritation from the stitches on her hernia so i had to take her into the emergency vet on a sunday$$$-
we had to get her staples out (complication w/the stitches) yesterday and she is just fine, while there we met another baby yorkie with two hernias -
it's realy too bad -I wonder if the breeders we report this to take their moms and dads out of their breeding programs... I sure hope so... poor things, its so hard to watch any animal go through a surgery and recovery.
