Default pain

I do not think dogs experince pain in the same way we do as humans. Of course, they feel pain, but I have watched how Yorkies react to pain for over 30 yrs...it is not what we think...
I am reluctant to give these types of medications..you do not want a Yorkie medicated to the point they are not moving around after surgery.

I have had many spayed/neutered/c-sectioned..and they came home within hours, alert and ready to eat dinner...they were able to go potty and many ran around acting as nothing happened. Some had to be penned to make them rest, others went to bed to rest, but were alert and not groggy...Yorkies can go down so fast and go into shock...so please watch them close on any medication that sedates them...if they have some pain, it keeps them from running around...that was my problem..mine for the most part did not act liek they felt any pain at all...
