I'm in the very beginning stages of pet portraits, however I have worked as a freelance artist for about 20 years now. I bought a Yorkie almost a year ago, and she is just the love of my life! I thought, why not paint her!! These portraits are whimsical and fun like the breeds they represent. There is a painting of her I just posted on her dogster site...now, this one is on canvas, unframed....but it gives you an idea of my work.
