I get comments like that all the time I have 2 Teapots.Peanut is 13lbs. and has long legs and a wavy coat.I paid 1000.00 for him.But he looks Like a Silkie with the long legs .But my Papers say He is 100% Yorkie! Maybe some where in his line there was a Silkie-who knows.I get more remarks when he has short hair and his top blue coat is almost gone. So if your friend wantsT less remarks keep the hair long .My other Yorkie Thumper is 16lbs.He looks like a Australian Yorkie but Big.He has Litermates that are only 7lbs.Yorkies are like individuals different shapes and sizes.Not all yorkies are under 6lbs.
