I am sorry you are going through this. Nobody deserves to be cheated on, and I know from experience that it is one of the most difficult things to deal with.
But, you know what, he is clearly not worth any of your trouble. When the right guy comes along, and he will, you will not have to jump through any hoops for him. Maybe you'll jump through hoops with him to work on your relationship, but not for him.
